So, finally it’s here!! The big reveal when you all get to meet beautiful nominees for Sweetest Sweet Pea. This is so exciting!!

I can’t tell you how relieved I am to NOT be the one making this decision!! These adorable little ones are all deserving!!

Below you will meet the 20 nominees for Sweetest Sweet Pea. After you see their darling little faces and read the reasons they were nominated, go to the comments section and cast your vote by listing the name and # of your favorite nominee. You can only vote once, so make sure to have friends and family cast a vote for your fave, too!

So, here they are….. your Sweetest Sweet Pea nominees!!!

#1 - Julia Kate

This is my Julia, Julia Kate, the sweetest sweet pea of ‘em all
And if you spent any time playing with her, you certainly would have a ball.

From the time she wakes up, till the time she goes down, she giggles, she laughs, and she shrieks
She’s happy all day, and that’s a great thing, since she doesn’t spend much time asleep.

So vote for my Julia, Julia Kate, the baby who’s always awake
She’s got so much to do, to look at and see, and so many memories to make.

#2 - Colton James

Colton James was born on November 24, 2008. After the first 12 weeks of screaming he has become my sweetest sweet pea – he is always smiling and gives the best hugs I’ve ever received from a baby. Colton James always brings a smile to my face and a tug to my heart.

#3 - Sam

Sam has the greatest personality - he LOVES to make us laugh one minute and then hug us and tell us he loves us the next minute. His favorite activites include digging in the dirt(obviously) and riding on tractors. His infectious giggles, white-blonde hair and giant blue eyes will melt your heart. He’s our little sweet pea!

#4 Vince

This is Jeffrey Vincent Stewart, IV of Macon, Georgia. Sounds like royalty, doesn’t it?! We call him Vincey and he is one of the sweetest little boys around. His first word was “this” as he pointed to something, but we were fortunate enough that word five was “thanks”. He loves Dora the Explorer, but his favorite little girl is his big sister Savannah.

#5 - Josephine Rose (Josie)

This is Josephine Rose - she is 14 months old and is just the happiest baby around! She is my boyfriend’s grand-daughter (wow, that sounds weird!) and brings nothing but laughter to everybody around her. On any given day, you can find her squealing with excitement as you chase her around the room, giggling as you play a game of hide and seek, or just laughing as your bounce her on your lap! I’ve never been around a baby that loves life as much as this little girl does - she wears me out - but in such a good way!!

#6 - Leah

Not only is she the cutest baby (no bias here), but she shows great affection towards her older brothers. Even though she is younger, she takes care of them and loves to give them kisses and hugs.

#7 - Luke

My Luke is the sweetest sweat pea because his giggles can make the coldest heart melt.

#8 - Reese

Reese is an affectionate & joyful baby girl who brightens our lives with her infectous smile.

#9 - Kasey Ryan

This is Kasey Ryan. As far as his family is concerned, he is the happiest baby on the planet. All you have to do is look at him to get him to smile. He is a photographer’s dream!

#10 - Eddie

Eddie is such a love! He’s a busy little boy, but always likes to be close to his mama! He is now almost 11 months.

#11 - Evelyn Elizabeth

Evelyn is simply the sweetest, happiest child that most people have ever met! She does not just give hugs, she “needs BIG hug” and constantly gives her family members lots of kisses. If one of us is hurt or sneezes (even the dogs), she unfailingly asks “You ok? You ok?” to show how much she cares for those she loves. Evelyn’s caring demeanor and permanent smile are perfect qualifications to be the “Sweetest Sweet Pea.”

#12 - Laila

Here is Miss Laila! She is barely 2 months old! She is the first child for my friends Matt & Shadi. Little Laila is quite the cutie pie.

#13 - Emerson

Emmy is the sweetest sweet pea because she is filled with love and genuine happiness that rubs off on everyone around her.

#14 - Anna

Anna is the sweetest sweet pea EVER because of her extraordinary zest for independence. She is 2 going on 22!

#15 - Mason

My son Mason is the sweetest, happiest, most fun loving little guy you could ever meet. He takes every new thing in with his big blue eyes, processes it, and then jumps right in. There isn’t much he won’t try, (especially if his big sister leading the way)!

# 16 - Luke James

This little man is “the boss”. He survived/ thrived a tumultuous nine months in utero, that included several unexpected pre-term labor trips to the hospital and a car accident on an icy road….! His Mom and Dad are both educators and this is there first child. He is also the first grandchild in the family. So, for many reasons… he is “The Boss”…he captures the spotlight in a roomful of adoring fans as soon as he takes the stage, everyone of his fans hoping for a moment with him in their arms…

#17 - Abigail

Abigail…. the Angel…. is a special gift from God… you know the story… you’ve had two children and your done… but God has different plans! She melts hearts when she gently snuggles her head on your shoulder, she has the smile that will certainly break hearts one day. She’s brought so much joy into the lives of her family and extended family, by just being herself….an angel baby….. She just learned to walk and is incredibly proud of herself. She has two adoring older brothers who are very protective of their baby sister…. because she is their angel too….!

#18 - Nicholas

Nicholas is 17 months old and such a delight. I think this picture shows the mischevious twinkle in his eye. And mischevious, he certainly is! He’s always keeping us on our toes, but has brought such laughter into our lives.

#19 - Cailey

Of course all newborns and babies for that matter are adorable and a blessing but my daughter, Cailey, should be the sweetest sweet pea because when you look at her she always gives a smile and has few words to share with you. Just look at those cheeks and her adorable mouth.

#20 - Bella

Here’s our youngest Annabella Elizabeth. This photo, taken by our favorite photographer (Allison, of course!) captures her fun loving personality and sweetness. “Bella” just turned two in May - most days she’s terrifically two but more recently, we’ve had a couple of those ‘terrible two’ moments. I love this picture because I think her spirit just shines through!

And last but not least, I would like to give an Honorable Mention to my dog-niece who was nominated by my sister-in-law, Leslie. I should have specified that this was for human children only… live and learn.

Lucy the dog

Reason she’s the sweetest sweet pea: She’s always good for a kiss and a warm cuddle laced with the scent of what can only be described as a cross between syrup and corn chips.
